O2 U.K. Getting The White Samsung Galaxy S II In September As Well
August 9th, 2011 by Youzhny
So we know that the U.K. will be getting a white version of the Galaxy S II starting September 1st and that three.co.uk has already confirmed their participation in this much sought after white device. Well, O2 also seems to be in on the white SGSII hype machine. There are no specifics on pricing or when exactly it will be available, but our guess is the phone will be free with a two year contract....Revolutionary Brings S-Off and Recovery to the HTC Sensation, EVO 3D, and More
July 30th, 2011 by Youzhny
Thanks to the folks behind Unrevoked and AlphaRev the HTC Sensation and EVO 3D now have permanent S-Off and NAND write access, a feat some felt might never be accomplished due to a locked bootloader. The tool called Revolutionary will do the same for most modern HTC handsets including the Desire, Desire S, Incredible S (and Droid Incredible 2), and Flyer tablet. Support is in the works for the HTC...Motorola MOTOPAD to Be First Android 3.0 Tablet
December 23rd, 2010 by Youzhny
A tweet by Mobile-Review’s Eldar Murtazin has been floating around this morning in regards to the upcoming Motorola tablet. The statement in questions is that the tablet — which here is referred to as the MOTOPAD — will be the first Android 3.0 tablet. We will assume by 3.0 he means Honeycomb, as we learned a lesson with Gingerbread never to assume version number of the next OS update. Anyway,...Nexus S or Bust? [Poll]
December 16th, 2010 by Youzhny
I know, I know: this poll is a bit premature considering we still don’t have the full smorgasbord of information regarding the supposed Nexus S – Samsung’s and Google’s attempt at an “updated” developer phone. Still, considering what we know (that this might be indentical to or only slightly better than the Galaxy S and that many manufacturers are looking to introduce even more powerful...Playstation Phone aka ‘Zeus’ caught on video again
December 4th, 2010 by Youzhny
Looks like the rumored Playstation Phone codenamed ‘Zeus’ can’t get enough attention from the video cameras. The Android phone that doubles as a Playstation mobile gaming device has been featured in two more videos, and this time you can actually see the device!
These videos are, in my opinion, much better than the first video that leaked because we can clearly see what everyone’s been buzzing...KK-Boxing v1.0.2

December 4th, 2010 by Youzhny
Something tells me this one won’t be popular with the masses, but we’ll report it anyway. Tether for Android – the latest tethering option that doesn’t come from Google or your carrier of choice – has been in beta for quite some time but the folks who created it are sure it’s ready for a stable launch now. Their claim to fame over other non-root options such as PDANet and Easy Tether is...New EVO 4G Users Getting an OTA Upgrade to Fix Camera
December 4th, 2010 by Youzhny
It’s been reported that owners of the new batch of HTC EVO 4Gs – the ones with the different software version number and difference in parts – are being notified to download an over the air update to fix the front-facing camera issue many have reported. Those of you on the newer EVOs should have version 3.30.651.2 if you haven’t updated, and should be stepped up to 3.30.651.3 post-update....Android phones outselling Windows Phone 7 devices 15 to 1
December 2nd, 2010 by Youzhny
In the UK, mobile retailer MobilesPlease gave out some data that indicated Windows Phone 7 sales to be down the tubes thus far. The data indicated that WP7 devices are being outsold by Android devices by a ratio of 15:1, and that even Symbian is outselling WP7 by a ratio of 3:1.
The company recognizes that the information may be “anecdotal”, but did say that they contacted other retailers in the...Lady Gaga helps promote newest Android handset, we still can’t read her poker face
December 2nd, 2010 by Youzhny
How’s this for a “Bad Romance”? Japanese mobile provider KDDI has enlisted the help of pop superstar Lady Gaga to help promote their latest Android devices. We have, for you, two commercials for the Sharp IS03, wherein Gaga takes center-screen to show you how much she loves Android. Well, okay, the commercial is mainly just her with an afterthought of “oh, by the way, here’s an Android phone”,...
